Look up the properties you found on your counties local Central Appraisal District, if the info shows the owners address is different from the home address then it's an absentee house.

If berks county area, I think you want to be in wyo, wilson, exeter, or mifflin school districts in that order.Rate looks pretty low, remember most non owner occupied rates are slightly lower than owner occupied.

if this is a rental property i would consider the following criteria before buying:1) amenities within 5 miles: starbucks, malls, strip malls etc etc2) how good is the school district?

BRAND new roof on since Harvey .My family lives a few doors downon the street and I have spent much of my 27 years in the area. last rents were 1550. and is in vickers school district. a couple updates have been made. very sought after neighborhood. by academy and walmart and lowes!
