Also, if you are given 3 weeks before bids are due, that would be a good time to check property-tax and other publicly available information, rather than trying to fade you bid after you've tied up the assets for a month.

I encourage you to get involved, ask questions, be open to feedback, and allow other seasoned investors to help guide you along your journey of Real Estate Investing.I'd also check out local REIA meetings, this can be a great place to get to know other investors in your area and network with people.One other recommendation... do a JV with a seasoned investor so you can jump in the passenger seat to see how it's done first hand.
