He is communicating with his agent, who communicates with my agent, who talks to me, so the messages takes awhile to go back and forth.I don't want to drag this out because it's a good deal for me and I don't want to leave the door open for someone else to make an offer.

If they won't talk to you then leave them one more voicemail saying that not communicating is unacceptable and if you don't here back from them within 24 hours you are going to terminate the contract and find a new company.I doubt that there is any conspiracy agasint you, but the company could very well just suck.

I wanted only one person to be on the lease officially (unless they are married) because I don't want to have to get in between.If Mary and Jack are renting my place I don't want to know if they split the rent 50/50 or may be Mary is responsible for cable TV but Jack pays the electric etc...and I don't want to be paid half by Mary and be told to go get the other half from Jack when they have a fight or something.

Due to interested people who want to help, things like the audited financial statements can be donated or heavily discounted which would impact the bottom line numbers to get started.It would also require a lot more communication about the project, the repairs and upgrades needed and how things work for everyone in the long run than if I put the same info out here - most of the little guys who would fund that may have bought their own house before but that would be the limit of their real estate experience for the most part.I think the individual investors would be looking at smaller return in exchange for their cash along with the idea of doing something worthwhile - $2,000 invested for a cause they believe in @ 3-4% versus a CD at the bank on a number of levels.
