The son of old owners and brother of who sold us house died in house .

She agreed to let me replace the 44ft of her fence with mine if I could secure her fence to it so that her dog cannot escape.

I am partnering with my two brothers who are both very skilled contractors and we're looking to find a couple of properties we can flip this year.  

Try to sell it to Toll Brothers or something.

Control the property with a contract that includes right of assignment, right of entry, right to market, and an escape clause.

My sister and brother in law are renting it out now and plan to live there thru Dec 2016 but most likely Feb 2017.

My brother owns a two family in Chelsea I asked him your question he said it happend to him once and he had the tenant pay it. not sure if he was backed by law or lucky the tenant agreed.

I just received an inheritanice of 1/3 of my father's house shared as tennancy in common with my brother and sister.  

-Most are mortgaged, one is paid off, though I'm considering paying off another with the proceeds of the sale of my one and only rental that is in an HOA (when I sell in a couple years to escape their non-sense).
