You have already sunk money into the asset, if you can make it work, maybe hang on for a while and see how it shakes out.

Happy to pay off the ones that aren't yet (19 of 30 are), sell when my targets are hit and hang up the cleats.    

May not be the case in your area but pride of ownership and back end repairs have been cheaper in my experience.You can make some money here, it is definitely the low hanging fruit in real estate.

I’m having a tough time balancing the pros of “hang on to your assets and let the market do its thing” vs “respond to market conditions and make sure you are not over exposed/leveraged.”

The last 10% will grit their teeth and hang in the band of earning enough to eat and survive, but most of the agents in my market (and probably everywhere) are starving.    

I hope this hasn't been posted before, but I'm just curious what others are doing (or what I should be doing) with hang-up leads?

Additionally, many of the agents will happily offer guidance.I'm rarely use my sales license as I've got a full time appraisal company to run, but I hang mine there and couldn't imagine being elsewhere.
