This second property has a good block shell and has passed inspections with no major red flags. 

Let us take a look at one property, 280 Grove Street (City Hall) 280 Grove Street Property Detail (monmouth.nj.us) Starting from Top left to right, you will see:1st column - Block, Lot - these are handy when you want to pay taxes, look up other information2nd column - Property Location, District, Property Class - location self explanatory, district 0906 (which is why the first url I had put 0906), class tells you what type of property it is. 15C.

I love everything about where I live ( Ocean Beach, San Diego, 1/2 block from the water, the size of my unit, walking distance to everything I need) but I am the only owner occupied unit in my building.

It can vary block to block and even street to street.

Personally, I wake up at 0430 in order to get some stuff done before work, and then time block 2-3 hours in the evenings as well.

If not, I'm unsure exactly how I'll proceed, but it was made clear to tenants that if I can't get rents raised that I can't keep them and they both appeared to be understanding (they assumed I was kicking them out to flip the house because of all the renovations on the block so they were appreciative I was trying to keep them there).
