Well I did that and now I'd like your help to polish them so they are realistic and attainable.

I have been the Leasing Director for Rental Home KC for the last 7 years and recently attained my MO RE license and will have my KS license by the beginning of the year.  

I thanked him for the clarification and asked if they could provide more detail about why.

I want the goal to be realistic and attainable but I see your point.

Educate enough to pick a real estate strategy that seems attainable and exciting to you.

Once you have identified what "real estate" you want to do first work on attaining that goal. 

I am going to attain a realtors license as part of my strategy, but other than that the first thing I want to do is pay off our (my wife and I) student loan debt.

Just as a point of clarification, most people build a list of leads that they direct market to in order to create prospects, who I define as people who have expressed an interest in your product or service, or in this case, selling.
