We used Dormkaba e-Plex on our 24-unit apartment for exterior doors and never had a problem.  

You would have to build a solid relationship with the title company by providing a lot of business, for them to be able to refer you to those failed closings.

Since I am out of state, I like to avoid the uncertainty of older home and prefer new builds or houses that are within 10 years old, max.
