If you're close, I have an electrician that has very good rates that could bid you.It costs me about $500/room to have separate meters installed.

As for my door, I got it installed (after about 6 hours), but I don't feel good about it, and who knows what will happen after 5 or 6 years.

So, if a french drain would be installed, it would have to extend the length of the driveway as well I would assume as that is the direction that the drain would have to flow.

One thing for sure, never let a tenant install their own window AC unit.

If not approved by your significant other than I would install a patio using pavers since its low the the ground with 1 or 2 steps to get there.

The labor alone to manufacture your own flooring, who knows, I guess it depends on how good you are and if you have all the equipment and time.I just installed a oak solid wood prefinished floor for $2.25 a sq foot.I feel time is better spent looking for a closeout, or looking on craigs list until you find what you want.
