I soured on the real estate business because growing in the 80's technology wasn't around to make our lives easier and trying to figure out drywalling and pluming as an 8 year old by yourself on the weekends was not fun. 

They are smaller and we have cell phone numbers to our account reps etc. 

Technology and regulations are trying to combat them. 

With all of the new technology and apps there are so many free or very cost effective ways to market compared to these "old-school" marketing tactics.So I guess what I'm wondering is, am I crazy to think that I can be successful using this online strategy vs. going the traditional route?

Not sure how that works, but I didn't really want to deal with an owner who would potentially sign title over in a cell!
