Went to view a property found on the MLS and the seller who was also the builder was showing the property.

Particularly in times like these it would be good to see more cooperation, collaboration, and a view that works towards expanding the pie than carving out a diminishing slice of it.

Google map: The street views quickly get outdated so don't rely on those entirely, but getting an idea on what businesses are around and the quality of schools in the area is helpful. 

In reality that is still a blind offer and once seeing the property, it may show very differently than what you find by viewing on MLS. 

In my view, this will happen out of necessity.

He did assist me in some viewings, so I do want to show my due diligence and allow him to assist me in the buying process but wanted to make sure it would be fully beneficial on my end as well to spend the amount of money since there isn't really much negotiating for the deal.. 

@Jay Hinrichs  I am starting to believe that I am too close to the epicenter to appreciate how others view this.Can someone please tell me how much reserves I need?
