A little hard to tell from the photo, but if the hill is less than 10' away from the house, I'd probably invest in moving that dirt so you have a clear 10' minimum level walkway around the house.Slabs and Pergo laminate are not my favorite combo, unless there is some sort of proper barrier between them.

Older homes have more risk, in my opinion, because things may not be level, you many not be able to use standard/bulk items, specialty items cost more, you need to create a space that matches the house period, and the potential pool of buyers who desire older homes is smaller (at least in our area).

If you did good work and are selling at market level no reasonable buyer will have an issue with you buying the property on the cheap when it was a junk heap.
