Week 1 Status:Permits have been pulledDumpster and portable toilet delivered to site Trees overhanging the house were trimmed and fallen leaves clearedGarage was cleaned out and exterior scraped for painting.House clean out is in progress, along with kitchen and bathroom demolition Roof replacement will begin on Friday (delayed because we had rain)Stay tuned for weekly updates.

In the process of revamping the kitchen (keep the cabinets but whitewash them, I do not like the current ubiquitous NYC "yellow" wood tone, also new backsplash, new stainless steel fridge, I may keep the current stove even though it is not stainless steel as it is fairly new and nice w vent, I may keep current countertops or replace w white granite as they are small in area) buy new toilet, the current is old and small, but the rest of the bathroom is nice!

This is a big no no, and people flush these down our toilets more times than I can count.However, since laying out signs in our bathrooms above the toilets stating NO WIPES or anything else besides toilet paper, we haven't had any issues.Regardless, if you do run into issues, getting a plumber out to snake the line can be costly.
