This is common here in OR, there are a lot of unmotivated sellers for the rental and commercial properties.Regarding having skin in the game.

@Mike Lambert It's absolutely my own personal preference, and I acknowledge that many people may feel differently.I am answering his question with zero skin in the game. 

It's important for your mental health that you don't let things like that get under your skin, you run a biz, just like a grocery store will have to toss some expired food, you'll have some losses.

And, if someone discounts good advice based on silly things like where they were born or the color of their skin or how long they've been investing - doesn't change the fact that it was good advice.Just sayin. 

They have more skin in the game then you do.Make sure you get clear title.

I wrote it in the feedback section of the webinar but when they read audience questions they put a very nice sugar coat on it and said they communicate the risk on potentially lower returns in bad times to their investors and have skin in the game themselves.

-I split all utilities equally between all roommates so everyone has skin in the game.

Maybe it’s time for a PM to step in going forward one with thicker skin 

This is a case where you could probably be pretty transparent with the LO who has given up, "hey I want to give it a whack elsewhere, no skin off your back since you've given up anyways... will you shoot me the 3.2 file?" 

I would much rather have a vacant unit than have someone move in without any skin in the game.
