Well, I took on a mentee/student who lives close by, the only way I'd consider it.Not an accountant or finance type, no prior RE experience but had been good at stock analysis that got noticed by a couple potential investors.I think we have met 3 times, I sent him off with a RE text book with some phone calls and PMs, learning assignments.

i.e. did the test process use a standard, academic test development process with the statistics to prove it; a 'certified' process to develop the certification as it were.I know of one National Real Estate certification for landlords is little more than taking the word of the student that they did attend certain classes.

I've done pretty well thus far and have used my rental income to put three kids through college, without getting student loans.The last one graduated this past May so now my cash flow will actually look like cash flow...lol.You can find me the first Tuesday of the month hanging out at the Harris County Constables Auction (that's if I can take the day off from work).
