In San Antonio, one of my airbnbs has been above 95% booked the last 18 months and has been listed as a rare find up until last month.. it hasn’t been touched in 5 weeks and I’m seeing hosts on the local FB chat are having trouble getting bookings as well.I’m using this break to update furniture and decor and will have my photographer take new pictures.

In marginal areas I look for broken windows, blankets for curtains, and front porch furniture.

Such as cars, furniture, clothing etc.

I do feel that somewhere along the way, we lost our humility, our common values to live simply, work hard and enjoy the free things in life; family, friends and playing outdoors.

I am getting three times the rent if I had rented it out the unit on an annual basis, but I am on the hook for utilities, cleaning fees, supplies, Netflix and furniture.

Fully furnished and all furnitures go with the house. 

I'm afraid that if I don't furnish them, the newly painted walls/floors could get damaged when new tenants move their own big furniture items in !

The prior tenants let their dog make terrible messes all over my floors, and they dragged furniture across it when they left.  

Furnished homes in my area are actually a negative, since nearly everyone has their own furniture and wants it gone.

The tenants complied but left behind garbage and large furniture.
