Rather than searching out a tenant, instead do an all out, exhaustive search for a property manager (look into credentials, experience, terms, etc and on this site and online about how to get the best the best one possible).

I know overseas the government helps a lot and you don't need to have a massive amount down.My plan is to buy relatively cheap for my first time ($55k equivalent) with a 10% down.Everyday I try to browse online listings to start getting an idea as to how much apartments are costing, and to get better ideas as to what units cost in the different areas.All the best man, you are already better off than most people your age!

Hello BP, while i'm looking through different online offers to get a better pictures of the multifamily investment, i notice in my area there is a lot of 2-2 & 3-2 bedroom bathroom.For now, my plan is to invest in 2-1 unit only to young & old couple (for the sake of argument), what can i do with the extra said bedroom &/or bathroom

The other thing is that the one that looked the most promising is fully rented out in has had the same good tennants living there for 5 plus years.There are only 8 multifamily properties in these two towns that I can find online.
