I have a bit of experience flipping in the Bay Area and holding a multi unit rental out near Buffalo, but I'm hoping to focus more on Long Island despite the obvious barriers to entry in such a high priced market.

I passed since I'm obviously not in the business of running a restaurant. 

I suppose you could deny the request to extend the loan and cancel the sale but obviously that would be counter productive.

Now, if there is a wall falling off or a roof caving in, that's another story as those should have been obvious to the seller/rehabbers.

Obviously it would be easier with your own title co.

If not, then obviously you cant.

Price ranges from ~300k, so obviously just looking to sell at higher price with in a year of build out. 

Obviously this will vary depending upon the property, but are there some general guidelines for how to anticipate this expense in the event that I am unable to obtain the information directly from the seller?  

I obviously have more to learn about.. if anyone has any critique on this harebrained scheme pull no punches!

Obviously, I made some terrible mistakes that cost me dearly for the next few years but I'm bouncing back.
