@Jeremy MckenzieThink of it this way, anyone can assign or sell a contract e.g. a lease, an option, a sale and purchase contract.The department of real estate of many states want people clear on what they are selling, houses or contracts, especially not happy about selling -marketing houses on the Internet when they only have an assignable contract.Talk to your Reia president and an attorney that knows LA realty laws.

Honestly it does seem like there is a lot going on with this note (pretty sure you can do a title search on FCI before buying & there are some remarkable things you can find on the Internet about properties btw) but I'd make a list and see if I'm willing to deal with the headaches one by one (and also cumulatively).
