It will raise the height of the floor another 1/4" to 1/2" which means you will have to cut all door bottoms off as well as take the base board off or at least the shoe mold.

@Nicole Adams you will probably not like my advice but:If you truly have no time or money hunker down at your job and work like a dog.If you have no money but a little time stay active on BP, read books and educate yourselfIf you have no money but more time educate yourself, attend REI's to start networking and if you still have free time go to a realtor and offer to sweep the floor or whatever he needs as a volunteer to learn the business.If you have a little money and a little time do NOT spend it on seminars, classes or other "lie to me and make my dream come true" activities.Best of luck.

I think they should be included, because, like someone else pointed out, you could have damage to the floors, etc, with install/removal.

They are probably not professional painters, and they might slop it around the trim, floor, doors, windows, ceiling, etc.

I’ve made some upgrades to my unit: new AC, hurricane shutters, bamboo flooring, as examples over the years, but haven’t upgraded the cabinets, countertops, or tile in the kitchen or bathrooms.
