Hello, I’m interested in wholesaling, I’ve been doing a little research and I just want to know generally what you should first to get started and some knowledge on good strategies to be successful in this business.

I am no expert but I do have a rental myself.

My knowledge/connections working in appraisal offices should pay off. 

Knowledge is your foundation and imperative.  

He is very knowledgeable of the area.

I'm no expert on the matter but if you are limited on information on the property to access what kind of cash flow it can produce I would stay away.

A lot of forum members are very knowledgeable in their respective fields related to real estate investing, whether that is real estate sales, wholesaling, flipping, rentals, lending, self-directed IRA and Solo 401k investing, or tax and legal guidance.The site has quite a few tools that can be helpful for new members.

Point being is I would try and become an "expert" in one area before you try and mail to multiple and run the risk of becoming overwhelmed.
