I attended the FHA home owners education class and received the certificate of completion, so I am working with the lender on the 3.5% down and down payment assistance, so I have less money out of pocket and can focus more of my funds on renovation and increasing equity.The properties I am looking at either have basements that are finished, or basements that I can finish myself to rent out separately either on a month to month basis, or as an AirBnB, or they have detached garages that are big enough to convert to a studio, or AirBnB.

At this point there is a massive area of cleared land and a gang of earth-mover tractors and a few of the construction company signs visible.I can't really estimate the size of the clearing but it looks like it could be a huge shopping center or maybe just a massive warehouse.What I want to know is how would I go about finding out what is being developed on this land before its completed?

Account ClosedIf you and your colleagues have a tenants in common agreement in place and you and your colleagues own the property in both of your names - you and your colleague should be entitled to report each person's share of income and expenses on your individual tax return instead of filing a form 1065.There are some benefits with this method such as not having to file a partnership return which can cost $$Furthermore - you don't have to wait for the partnership return to be completed before you can complete your individual return.The only possible downside is that you may have to calculate depreciation separately.$1600 a year for a partnership return - I hope that didn't wipe out all your cash-flow!
