From research and talking to some individuals in the industry, modular homes are supposed to appreciate like a normal site built home, but does anyone have any firsthand experience with this as being true?

My wife and I wanted to continue investing in properties and grow our portfolio in a more stable manner for our area.How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

The best bet, especially with your first few buildings is the talk with your agent for an estimate

Does anyone have ideas of who to talk? 

I believe we'll continue to see outsized appreciation in Detroit and it's going to have a massive comeback over the coming decades.

If the latter, and if I continued to purchase mortgage loans or otherwise lend money, is there a definitive point at which I can no longer reasonably argue that I am not in the business of lending money?

well we are getting in the Tulles when talking about buying tax sale and Sherrif sale's.
