Ideas For Removing 5-6 ft of water in basement?
13 July 2014 | 12 replies
@Ibrahim S know it as a sump pump. probably rent it from Home Depot or wherever.it looks kind of like a kitchen garbage disposal with a hose attached. works like a powerful vacuum. just run the hose to where you want the water to go ( choose wisely ) and plug in the pump.god knows why the water is there, that will be another issue.

Many turnkey providers do this. Here's an example: http://lawsonwealth.com/3522-garden/I've also seen spreadsheets for cap rates that account for SFRs (heck, even condos).

Basement Systems vs Carpenter
5 April 2014 | 4 replies
@Robert Conroy Those basement systems when I looked into them were almost the same price as a local basement remodeler without the ability to easily make changes in the future(which doesn't matter as much to you I realize).Personally unless it is a really bad DIY job or your target price range is high I would paint the paneling a light beige color to brighten it up put down some new carpet from Home Depot without padding (~$0.69/sq ft + $150 install from a local installer from my last basement job) and call it good.
