https://www.inman.com/2016/05/...There is a solid reason why banks and mortgage companies typically require an actual licensed appraiser to set the value of a home in order to secure a mortgage instead of just looking at an online valuation model.Updating the data is a challenge on a home since they are a data aggregator (pull data from multiple sources) so if you change something, they may pull data from somewhere else that once again updates over your update.As a Realtor/Broker, I am constantly showing people my own home on Zillow and how accurate it is and am in no hurry to correct any of their errors for them.
