In an effort to address the housing crisis the Washington State Legislature has numerous bills to consider, most all of which limit a landlord’s ability to conduct business and preserve their financial investment. 

License aside...I like being able to hold my licensed trades responsible in case something is not done correctly.There can be numerous consequences as well if a property is being sold with an addition without being permitted.

In order to mitigate those mentioned issues, my strategy is to target properties that would house a family rather than a single renter as the members spouse and children would remain there whilst they are deployed.

I am single with no children and have no roots which gives me a lot of flexibility on how to start this journey.

What attracted me to real estate was the idea of investing money into deals to produce high ROI and residual income while I continue to study and to build up my financial life to have a legacy to pass on to my future children.

I'm so excited to be here - after listening to the Bigger Pockets podcasts for the last 6-8 months and reading numerous books on real estate and business, I am more eager than ever to educate myself as much as possible and start my investment portfolio this year.I feel a quick introduction to myself is in order, so here's some background on who I am and what I am looking to accomplish this year:It all started with my endless search for "the perfect solution" to my endless problem of needing to climb the corporate ladder.

I attended numerous property tours of investors to listen how they purchased properties, what kind of rehab they conducted and there profit.  

There are of course numerous other ways to get started and you can jump right into the bigger and more risky investments right away.
