Keep an eye on the recommendations you get, make sure they're actually in line with the market - in my experiments with various auto-pricing tools, they either priced me way too high or too low.

When attorneys get involved Tenants will often concede as the Tenant loses the ability to make vague legal threats that you or I might feel carries weight as we don't know the laws, as well as an attorney but your counsel, shouldn't bat an eye at anything the Tenant threatens.

They may say they understand (because in their eyes, buying a house is always the same process), but when you start turning down properties they show you because they don't match your criteria, they'll get frustrated.The quickest way to know if a realtor will understand your needs as an investor is if they hold investment properties as well.
