Sometimes (well, lately often) the term "slumload" is a term used by tenants when a landlord doesn't address repairs quickly (like immediately) or demands things (like the rent).About the only useful thing that happens when you invest in high crime areas is that you have lots of interesting stories to tell your friends. 

I'm wondering, on this building (supposedly 1800 sqft, three stories tall), what would you estimate siding costs to be?

and yet - the market is booming and new builds are all over - so many cute little neighborhoods have 4 story Multi Fams going up....
