Wage inflation seems a long ways away particularly given the current administration's affinity for regulations which make it harder and harder for small businesses to get going thus hindering the greatest engine for job growth.   

If the housing prices are unsustainable in Canada, according to this, the same would have to be said for Honk Kong, Britain and Australia; unless of course the income growth in those countries exhibit a different pattern. 

I think something to consider is the rent growth for Denver or anywhere.

I do not know about Texas or the particular piece of land you are considering to purchase but out here in California where I live land usually comes along with all kinds of vegetative growth which my law, ordinance, or regulations much be maintained in order to avoid any potential fire hazard.

BC's growth is solid right now.

The job growth is driving lots of the values here in the Bay Area.

In the coming future, there might be great opportunities for the growth that is arresting the rest of metropolitan Texas to make inroads into the underutilized Killeen labor market.As a Realtor and owner of a home, rental SFH and 4-plex in the area, that is certainly what I am hoping for.Also, from my working with investors, the multi-family market is pretty hot.  

While I have seen great rent growth, sooner or later the low end will price itself out of tenants and rents will stabilize.
