I agree with all above, Oak Park has seen a lot of investor traffic mainly for flips.

@Jason Hawkins, It is very hard to keep a foot in both camps until you've got economy of scale and a war chest.  

My family and I want to eventually start a contracting business for real estate management, and we think this could be a good foot in the door close to home.

I've observed more traffic on some of the facebook sites for UK property vs bp (for the moment at least).

Some have quoted around $400/square foot while an ADU designer quoted $850/square foot.

I think way too many folks buy in Philadelphia without ever stepping foot here which can work in certain spots but most areas change drastically in only a block or two.Do you already know how you plan to acquire the property?
