So, as in MANY other cases, they're fighting back through legislation.And, like in some of these other cases, they may have short term success with this approach. 

"Hope" isn't a plan, it's a rationalization for a bad deal, and is the most expensive word in the REI vocabulary.This is a cut and run...fight another day.

I just had that happen on one of mine I am about to fight it..

I was fighting some fraudulent charges at the time of their demise and couldn't talk to anyone who could remove these charges.  

I spent 3 months fighting a unwinnable battle when I finally decided the time is way more worth than $1600.

They all get thrown into the very same civil division and fight it out.

@Karen Rittenhouse I would go further and skip the attorneys and simply go to the state and pay for an opinion letter from them.. they have to give you one.. if they say fine then your good to go.I have been in front of regulators with my attorney saying we can beat them but at what cost if they want to nail you .. you can't fight them too expensive especially for the average investor who I doubt is going to spend 100k to fight in front of a law review judge.. been there done that .. cost me 30k LOL. so its from experience at least in our state.And in our state double close did not work either according to the investigator they take the position your still marketing a property you don't own.. that's the crux.

I'm not a lawyer or a judge, though.As others have said, probably not worth fighting it because the laws are still somewhat vague and have not been thoroughly scrutinized and fleshed out via court cases.
