Maybe there’s a roof pouring water in that direction, or they let the gutters fill up long ago and it flooded that spot when water poured over them etc.

From my research, it seems like a pulling permit is more for protection purposes for DIYer who may not properly build or remodel, but since i am working with an experienced contractor, i feel that his experience should be helpful in spotting dangerous builds.

I also saw the city is approving zoning for development with minimal parking spots than typically required.

As an investor one of my least favorite parts of the job is digging through my inbox for all of my wholesalers contact info and then re-emailing them to see what they have available.

@Cedric Spencer Not sure I would say most people dream about being medically discharged, but that is a good financial spot to be in.

what @George W. said is spot on, make sure that you give the next set of contractors you choose to work with the story on the project just like you did here, but be forewarned some contractors wont touch the job because of the issues with the permits so you'll want to get your arms around that issue asap.
