I noticed that one of my bed legs (has a wheel) has really worn away at the wood floor (maybe 5 inches length x 1-2inches in width) probably from me sliding the bed at times back into place.

It is an excellent strategy when you don't have a lot of operating capital, however, the trade off is your own personal comfort.

Yes, believe it or not a lot of house flippers that do lots of volume still use Excel spreadsheets or Google Sheets as well!
