The most dangerous part of asbestos is the dust you create while removing it. covering is safer and acceptable in my area. its actually excellent siding it does not rot and holds paint really well.Its usually illegal to remove on your own and very expensive to hire a company to remove .Going over it does not create a health hazard since you are not creating any asbestos dust.
