We (the homeowners) just won a lawsuit against the builder for construction defects.

The pro's that I would suggest for new construction I might not suggest you use as your handy man, etc.

Go to Open Houses and look at the homes, and pay attention to the age of the home, construction (old, remodeled, etc.) appliances, lighting (electrical) plumbing fixtures, etc.
