Just starting out, saving and getting your credit as good as it can be, inviting nearby investors to coffee or a meal, and volunteering or partnering with people doing what you want to do are practical steps, in addition to learning.

This is going to sound stupid, but do I need a fax machine and number to do out of state investing, or is scanning and email sufficient to do business with most people?

Well, I'd only be able to help if it's in an older version of PowerPoint, as that's all I have in my old Parallels WinXP virtual machine on my Mac
