However if you have prudent operations to make sure the property is in good condition (inspections, routine maintenance, etc), follow the law as it pertains to landlord/tenant relations in your area, and dispatch maintenance in a reasonable time frame the threat of law suits and all the screaming is just hot air

They may even steal electricity by running extension cords to neighboring properties, or by creating dangerous/illegal connections that bypass the meter like this one:(I have personally seen everything I mentioned above.)What they're NOT going to do though is worry about how to power things they no longer think are a priority, like their vacuum cleaner

The guests are fully self check-in already, although I'm not happy with the Schlage lock that is currently installed because I can't control it from off site (lock recommendations appreciated).I have reliable house-cleaners and lawn care, and I don't find myself having to go over to the house very often.
