If my mom wasn't going to pay rent, I'd put her in a $100k condo or townhome, or more likely a mobile home park.Why is your mom's house not in an LLC or in her name?

For some tenants, not having onsite laundry is a deal breaker.The plan includes coin operated plus a mobile app. 

If you have the money to do a bigger deal on your own (50+ units) and not enough experience for the to buy and manage, guaranteed you will crash and burn and your equity will evaporate.

What do you guys think of buying a mobile home to rent out and is there anyone who has done this, how did it go?

We had one of our homes burn down in the LA fires and are beginning the process of rebuilding. 

We are selling a cabin in Wisconsin however the buyers lender said they want an old abandoned cabin burned before committing to their loan. 

Rent a primary, look into a long term hotel situation if you travel that much, or locate a house sitting gig or take part of a nice house owned by another mobile individual.

Ideally, I will find mobile home parks and apartment complexes to invest in.
