So would you want to be in a market that will encourage home ownership of renters, or in a market where it will be tough for people to buy for the next 10 years or so or maybe forever?

Are there people you feel more comfortable with?

I plan to start with my own fund in CRE before I bring other people's fund.

As a PM, we deal with people's most heated topics - their money and their homes. 

I would also recommend building out your team, and attending local networking events to get in the room of like-minded people.

Now it's more uncommon to rent by the room in Philly simply due to finding people willing buy into that situation.
