Hello,My property manager is asking us fill out a W-9. 

My wife and I are looking to invest in existing or project-stage vacation rentals in Mexico / the Caribbean.

From what I understand, the process appears to be relatively synonymous, but dealing with foreign payments and foreign entities is unchartered territory for me, and I want to make sure I deal with closing and managing this property in the right way.

Gave that list to her property manager in March this year & he just smirk at me.

There was no hesitation on our part... we own 37 doors (bought between 2018-2021) and managing our real estate is our full time job; but I want to offer you a corollary as to your "why does everyone wait" question... which is to say, "Maybe SOMETIMES they should be waiting..."
