Just never put two units on one chimney flue. changing  out a furnace or boiler can change a lot depending on what you want for a system and how good you want.

@Nate Meeker can a commercial multifamily (8+ units) complex qualify for the STR loophole (assuming all units are rented for less than 7 days, etc.)? 

I'd like this to be a 2, 3, or 4 unit househack.

However, I’ve never bought a condominium apartment that’s being sold in pieces (IE. 40 out of 220 units). 

I’m perplexed as to buy a SFR or multi unit like a duplex or triplex for my first rental property, I cannot house hack so I’m reaching out for suggestions.
