The ending point is uncertain because I haven't done this before, especially not the walls in poor condition.Will get better numbers.All laborers except oldest son started school, so our ability to rehab is cut way down.

I've painted floors grey before and it came out nice but I think black might be more stylish and less labor intensive than refinishing.

You could always offer to pay for the materials yourself so that way its only labor you are paying to the contractor.
