, How can the category of ‘housing’ be expanded upon (I’m talking crazy stuff like holographic housing and that sorts of stuff)?

Naturally I am looking to expand my STR portfolio while simultaneously creating one with multi-family, out of state.

In fact we pulled out of Milwaukee propper and consolidated and expand into the northern suburbs.

I believe @Chris Clothier was considering that market at one time to expand his company, but not really aware of any others.  

I'm in San Antonio, but would like to explore areas where getting at least 1% rule is the norm rather than the exeption.I'm looking to expand outside of San Antonio, my main objective is growing a buy and hold rental portfolio.I'd like to stay under 100k for now due to wanting to do all cash at the moment  (although I'm not opposed to hardmoney or partnership).I'm trying to avoid areas with a high turnover.

After buying the house I'll jump into a Duplex and expand the search within a 25 min drive from me.
