I've come across the term "deficiency bid" and I'm wondering how often would a bank really let this happen as opposed to just buying the property and try to sell it as REO down the road?

they have a couple cities they show. but i've notice that they all seem to get there work done very cheaply,i never flipped a house but it seems like they get guys to work for nothing, they also claim projected profit, if the property sell for what they want, and i wonder if the cost of there houses include closing cost and such. but i do wacth regularly.

But, in particular with being in the suburbs the prices for homes are expensive..I wonder if i should try to focus on a market in another area of IL or South East WI perhaps or even MI??

It is a wonderful place, and especially so for investors looking for a huge income and appreciaiton from the lucrative overnight renatl market...supported by 13 million annual tourists.Most of these homes range from $200,000 to $1.4 million asking price, and yield $35,000 to $165,000 yearly income!!!

He bought it 3 years ago for 130,000, and did a little work on it recently.The sign on it now has a few letters and a phone number, not a real estate agent or company.After reading a TINY bit here, I wonder if that seller now is a wholesaler, or at least someone who bought it at a lot less and is now asking the same as what the original fellow had.
