The strategy to get there is to use my own capital towards fix and flips to create more cash on hand to eventually begin buying and holding real estate to not only build net worth, but leverage debt to continue investing, and have others pay down my liabilities as I build equity.

Investment Info:Mobile home buy & hold investment.

Our out of state rentals are held in a LLC and we plan to hold the properties in Punta Cana the same way.

Investment Info:Small multi-family (2-4 units) buy & hold investment in Endicott.

My question is considering the above, what strategies exist that would allow me to leverage the free and clear condo such that I am expanding my portfolio, or am I kind of stuck in a holding pattern of waiting until these existing leases expire, and then potentially selling the properties?

I’d appreciate thoughts on whether you think it’s worthwhile.This is my first buy and hold.

I built a team of a trusted broker, lender, contractor and property manager that have led to a lot of great cash flow on long term buy and holds as well as flips. 

There are many opportunities to purchase properties that are distressed or in need of improvement at a reasonable price and increase their value tremendously and also rent them out if you choose to hold/rent them with all the people moving to the area.

Make sure you meet all your deadlines with the section 8 inspector and that you do your best to hold your tenant accountable for any damages done each year for the future yearly inspections.

So its a modified A for me ( consider taxes / with holdings ).
