I'd say generally I get some of my best deals from the tertiary areas around a major metro. 

This is largely due to substantial investments made by major corporations like Intel, Honda, Nationwide Children's Hospital, and Wexner Medical Center in the area. 

Commercial bankers in my (tertiary) market can often lend 500k, 750k, or even a million without going to a higher committee. 

The biggest concern I always have is with travel medical professionals who work long shifts and leave their pet indoors.

Columbus is your best bet, it has seen great appreciation with many new jobs being created from large expansions by companies such as Intel, Honda, Amazon, Nationwide Children's Hospital and Wexner Medical Center.

This is due in large part to major corporations like Intel, Honda, Nationwide Children's Hospital, and Wexner Medical Center investing heavily in the region and creating numerous job opportunities.

I was able to do this and totally replaced my medical device income to the point I was able to retire and have complete financial freedom.

The key is to rent to grad students and medical students.  

This is probably the single most common booking site for travel medical professionals.

Medical reasons do not enter into its equations.
