This would be a full time STR and maybe come down one week in the summer for personal use.

I personally would not do it and do not recommend buying points to any of my clients.

Morgan,When you are getting the Homeowners quotes, have them also quote a Personal Umbrella policy to give added Liability coverage since you will have a renter in the house.

You will likely have personal guarantees, but those are contingent liabilities to you and not show when you are applying for personal credit.
