You need to give them a 5-day notice, and it has to be written EXACTLY as required in the statue - various landlord attorney sites online (from Illinois) have examples.You've tried being patient and nice, but now you've got to protect your own interests.

I can tell you from personal experience, there are tons of trolls (idiots, jerks, rude people) online that get satisfaction from trying to belittle others and make them feel stupid.

I suggest using the Trustee to handle all notices of default and satisfaction.
