They stopped collecting the "nights rented" data in mid-2016 when they took the reporting system to online.The only dip was after the wildfires of 2016 where rentals dropped off due to bad media coverage (many people though the whole area burned down) and the actual loss of over 1200 rental cabins.

@Bob Woelfel Last time I purchased a property (for personal) the loan officer ran my credit 3 times, each time it dropped my score.

On the other side, as demand decreases, home values have to be dropped by the owner setting/accepting a lower offer. 

Leave a letter for them explaining the situation that I am the new owner rather than just dropping by unannounced.
