As others have said, you need to put a $$-value on your commute time AND on the physical & mental stress of 2.5 hours of commute.

Unless you are able to add some value to the property and boost the rents, this deal might not be so hot.

I have found that having a "team" mentality with my processor has significantly expedited the process and problem solving. 

The casino AND the convention center going in speaks to more than just the jobs that those 2 additions will directly create, it speaks to the mentality of the folks directing the growth of the city.

The Tech stocks are rebounding, which boosts people’s stock portfolios; they can utilize the gains for down payments or reserves.And for these reasons, I believe we are not going to see a housing crash anytime soon.
